USAT Sanctioned
This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon and all participants must either possess an annual membership or purchase a $10 one-day membership permit. USAT membership cards must be current and will be verified at packet pick-up. If you forget your USAT card you will need to sign a waiver and pay the $10 permit fee. No exceptions!

Wave Starts
Beginning with the Olympic Course waves will start at 7:30 am with 7 minute intervals. Waves will be grouped by age divisions for men and women.

Event Transfer Policy
Registered athletes unable to participate will be allowed to transfer their entry to
another athlete and/or event distance up to September 15, 2008. There is a $20
transfer fee. Athletes are required to notify the race director in writing or e-mail
with the information necessary to complete the transfer (name, gender, age, date
of birth, USAT membership status). All additional fees MUST be paid prior to
packet pick-up. The race director reserves the right to decline a transfer request.
There are no refunds.
Raincheck Policy
If you are registered and unable to participate due to illness or an injury, a Rain
Check can be requested for next year’s event. A doctor’s note may be requested at
the discretion of the Race Director. The value of the Rain Check certificate will
reflect the amount you paid this year. All Rain Checks must be requested in
advance and in writing on or before Friday, September 26, 2008. The Race
Director reserves the right to decline any Rain Check request. There are no
refunds.
GROUP DISCOUNT POLICY
15% Group Discounts are available for groups of ten or more. A $15.00 late fee applies to all individual entries received or postmarked after August 15, 2008.
Entries must be submitted as follows:
Registration Fees: Olympic Course: $80.75 Sprint Course: $63.75
All entry forms are to be submitted and mailed together by post mail. Entry forms must be received on or before September 1, 2008.
2. All Group Registrations and fees must be received on or before September 1st, 2008.
Fees must include $10 USAT Permit for non-USAT-members.
3. A Group Roster must be submitted along with the entries listing a primary contact name, contact phone number, contact e-mail address, and the individual names in the group.
