Packet Pick-up

Bring your photo ID Saturday, Sept. 24 between 1:00-6:00PM on the Linden Field adjacent to the Carpinteria State Beach on Linden Avenue. NO ID -->NO PACKET!

Please park on the street in order to avoid being charged $10 by the State Beach. If you bring a dog, please keep it on a 6 foot leash and keep it off the beach in order to avoid a citation by the State Park Rangers. Dogs are not allowed on the State or City Beaches. [MAP]

Relay team members must pick up their own packets.

Attn.: USAT members: USAT MEMBERSHIP CARDS ARE REQUIRED WITH YOUR PHOTO I.D. If you do not have your card at packet pick up you will be required to pay $10 for the 1-day license, and sign a waiver. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Anyone unable to pick up their packet on Saturday may do so Sunday between 6:00-7:00 AM at the same location.

USAT Sanctioned

USAT single-event fee of $10 must be paid by entrants who do not have a verified current USAT license. You must show your USAT card and photo I.D. when picking up your event packet or pay $10 for the single-event fee.

Junior Participants born in 1994 or later pay only $5 for a 12 month license. No exceptions!

Olympic Distance
1.5K Swim | 40K Bike | 10K Run

Sprint Distance
.5K Swim | 15K Bike | 5K Run

Wetsuits are recommended and that the anticipated temperature is approximately 65-67 degrees

Wave Starts

Beginning with the Olympic Course waves will start at 7:30 am with 7 minute intervals. Waves will be grouped by age divisions for men and women.

There will be a time credit for participants stopped by the train during the bike course.

Participants are to use EXTRA caution when riding down the GREENWELL Hill as it is one lane and there is gravel and a sharp right turn at the bottom.

RAIN-CHECK POLICY

We are no longer offering a rain check.

GROUP DISCOUNT POLICY

10% Club Discounts are available for groups of ten or more. A $15.00 late fee applies to all individual entries received or postmarked after August 1, 2011. Entries must be submitted as follows:

Registration Fees: Olympic Course: $108.00 Sprint Course: $85.50

All entry forms are to be submitted and mailed together by post mail. Entry forms must be received on or before August 31, 2011.
Fees must include $10 USAT Permit for non-USAT-members.
A Group Roster must be submitted along with the entries listing a primary contact name, contact phone number, contact e-mail address, and the individual names in the group.
